3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MASTER STREET PLAN (ORDINANCE
4 NO. 22,180) TO RELOCATE A PROPOSED COLLECTOR EXTENSION
5 SOUTH OF PRIDE VALLEY ROAD NEAR PIPER LANE(MSP2025-01); AND
6 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,Pride Valley Road is a Collector street between Kanis Road and runs west to Tele Road
9 in the Ellis Mountain Planning District;and,
10 WHEREAS, the Master Steet Plan has a proposed Collector from Pride Valley Road south to a
11 proposed extension of Capitol Hill Boulevard;and,
12 WHEREAS,the proposed relocation of the Collector was requested by the property owner;and,
13 WHEREAS, the Collector is currently located over an existing pond as well as some existing
14 structures;and,
15 WHEREAS,moving the collector north across Pride Valley Road allows for the connection to Chenal;
16 and,
17 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Planning Commission has reviewed the Master Street Plan Amendment
18 and approved the amendment on March 13,2025.
19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK:
21 Section 1. Located in T1 N R13 W S 1,the Proposed Collector extension South of Pride Valley Road
22 near Piper Lane is to be relocated to the west on Master Street Plan map and text as shown in Exhibit 1A.
23 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 ordinance.
28 Section 3. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
