3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SMART AUTO GROUP 6, LLC, FOR THE
5 PURCHASE OF ONE(1)FORD F-450 4X4 CREW CAB TRUCK,FOR THE
6 STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION OF THE CITY'S PUBLIC WORKS
7 DEPARTMENT, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-SIX
8 THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($56,500.00), PLUS
9 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Street Operations Division of the City's Public Works Department has a need for one
12 (1) Ford F-450 4x4 Crew Cab Truck, as a replacement for an aged vehicle with high mileage, which is
13 costly to maintain and repair;and,
14 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made through HGAC Contract#VE05-24;and,
15 WHEREAS,pursuant to Little Rock,Ark. Resolution No. 16603 (February 18,2025),the Purchasing
16 Division of the City of Little Rock is authorized to purchase on contracts awarded by the State of Arkansas;
17 and
18 WHEREAS, the total cost of this purchase is in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Six Thousand, Five
19 Hundred Dollars($56,500.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
22 Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Smart Auto Group 6,LLC, for
23 the purchase of one(1)Ford F-450 4x4 Crew Cab Truck, in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Six Thousand,
24 Five Hundred Dollars($56,500.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
25 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from the Public Works 2025 Vehicle & Equipment
26 Replacement Account#205409-72300-S40B676.
27 Section 3.Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 4.Repealer.All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
