3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT ALTEC INDUSTRIES, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT
5 TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, SEVEN
6 HUNDRED AND NINETY-THREE DOLLARS ($187,793.00), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
8 NEW BUCKET TRUCK WITH CHIPPER BED, FOR THE STREET
9 OPERATIONS DIVISION OF THE CITY'S PUBLIC WORKS
10 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Street Operations Division of the City's Public Works Department has a need for one
13 (1) new Bucket Truck with Chipper Bed, as a replacement for decommissioned vehicle #01F233, which
14 had potential safety concerns and high maintenance costs;and,
15 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made through Sourcewell Contract# 110421-ALT;and,
16 WHEREAS,pursuant to Little Rock,Ark.Resolution No. 16603 (February 18,2025),the Purchasing
17 Division of the City of Little Rock is authorized to purchase on contracts awarded by the State of Arkansas;
18 and
19 WHEREAS,the total cost of this purchase is in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighty-Seven
20 Thousand, Seven Hundred and Ninety-Three Dollars($187,793.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
23 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Altec Industries, Inc., for the
24 purchase of one(1)new Bucket Truck with Chipper Bed,in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighty-
25 Seven Thousand,Seven Hundred and Ninety-Three Dollars($187,793.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
26 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from the Public Works 2025 Vehicle & Equipment
27 Replacement Account#205409-72300-S40B676.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
32 resolution.

1 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
