HomeMy WebLinkAbout16676 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,676 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH BILL'S FENCE COMPANY, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED 6 SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($66,475.00), FOR PERIMETER FENCE AND 7 GATE INSTALLATION AT THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE 8 DEPARTMENT'S l2TH STREET SUBSTATION; AND FOR OTHER 9 PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department("LRPD")has determined that installation of perimeter 12 fencing and gates are needed to secure the premises of the 12`h Street Substation,to allow for the separation 13 of public parking for the adjoining businesses; and, 14 WHEREAS,vendor selection of Bill's Fencing Company, Inc., was made through TIPS Contract No. 15 23010402,pursuant to Little Rock,Ark. Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18, 2025); and, 16 WHEREAS,the total cost for fencing and gate installation by Bill's Fencing Company, Inc.,to secure 17 the 12th Street Substation premises is Sixty-Six Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars($66,475.00), 18 plus applicable fees and taxes. 19 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS; 21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Bill's Fencing Company, Inc., 22 for the installation of perimeter fencing and security gates at the 12th Street Substation, in an amount not to 23 exceed Sixty-Six Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($66,475.00), plus applicable fees and 24 taxes. 25 Section 2.Funding for this expenditure are available from Police Parking Facilities - Fencing Account 26 No. 108529-S52C520. 27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 31 resolution. 32 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
