Kinco Constructors is applying for a variance for the site retaining wall at 28214 Chenal Valley Drive built by Kinco
Constructors, LLC on behalf of Christ Community Church to be above 15 feet tall as required by the provisions of Section 31-
370. The steep and rugged terrain, as well as the desire to keep as many native trees as possible, requires the wall to be
approximately 21 feet tall to provide an area for parking spaces. Additionally, the boundary street improvement waiver
agreement dated 6/24/2024 required that the project maintain a 140 foot native boundary along Chenal Parkway that prevents
the wall from moving to the west far enough to reduce the height below the 15 foot maximum allowed by the code 1961, 37-
32(e).
