This property recently received approval for a similar request in May 2024. The original design did not address the rather steep slope from the street to the existing house. The new design accommodates the grade change, but requires the new carport be located in a slightly different location, with a slightly different configuration. The previously approved design contained 361 SF under roof, the new design contains 392 SF under roof. The side yard setbacks for the new design are approximately 10.5 feet on the west and approximately 12.0 feet on the east. Moving the carport location creates a more useable carport along with additional separation for the neighbor to the west. look forward to attending the Board of Adjustment on February 20th.
