Board of Adjustment
Little Rock Planning and Development
Dear Members of the Board of Adjustment,
I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing to request a variance for a carport we recently
built at our home at 30 Windsor Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas. Our house sits at an angle to
the street, unlike the other homes in our neighborhood that face the street directly. This
unique positioning has made it challenging for us to make the best use of our space within
the existing zoning guidelines. The carport is important for us as a growing family, providing
much-needed storage space and shelter for our vehicles. We took great care of designing it
so it complements the look of our home and fits in with the neighborhood’s aesthetic.
However, because of the way our house is positioned, we’ve run into di Ưiculties complying
with the current zoning requirements. We’re simply hoping to make the most of the space
we have, and we believe this variance would help us do just that without impacting the
overall look or feel of our neighborhood. We sincerely appreciate your time and
consideration of our request.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Warm regards,
Juan & Gabrielle Martinez
