Cover Letter for Variance Request
The Resident at 5904 Stonewall Drive has purchased additional lot to the east of his residence in
anticipation to expand his existing residence size as he has a young growing family. This new lot re -plat
is listed at Lot 119R.
With the help of Fennell Purifoy Architects they designed improvements that will enhance the living
conditions as well as increase the value of the Forrest Heights Place Addition. With the addition of
fitness area, a swimming pool and Living space that helps block the visibility of the new pool from
Stonewall Road. The construction of the new spaces will comply with the exterior detail of the existing
house using recycled brick veneer and architectural design that blends into the landscape of the Heights
neighborhood. Fennel Purifoy Architects has been in communication with Zoning about this project
during the design phase to understand the possibilities of this design being approved through a
variance.
This request is for a rear property line setback that has been approved on the original structure and will
continue East onto the newly platted unimproved lot space. We hope you will consider this a value to
