3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE
4 LITTLE ROCK PORT AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH
5 AMAZON.COM LLC, TO SELL APPROXIMATELY ONE HUNDRED SEVEN
6 (107)ACRES OF LAND;AND,FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Port Authority markets land for economic development purposes and
9 encourages industry to locate at the Port of Little Rock;and,
10 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Port Authority recently developed a master growth plan that identified
11 various industry segments that would be good industry partners;and,
12 WHEREAS, Amazon.com LLC, has approached the Little Rock Port Authority about buying
13 approximately one hundred seven(107)acres of land located at the Port of Little Rock for the purpose of
14 locating a fulfillment and distribution center,pursuant to Ark.Ann.Code §14-54-302.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK:
17 Section 1. The City of Little Rock Board of Directors authorizes the Mayor to sell approximately one-
18 hundred seven acres of land located at the Port of Little Rock.

20 The property is specifically defined as: A TRACT OF LAND LYING IN SECTIONS 19 & 20,
21 TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 11 WEST, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, BEING MORE
22 PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

24 COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 19; THENCE N 02° 33' 21"
25 W ALONG EAST LINE OF SECTION 19 FOR 132.39 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING;
26 THENCE N 88° 37' 20" W FOR 2687.46 FEET AND THE BEGINNING OF A CURVE; THENCE
27 ALONG SAID CURVE TO THE RIGHT HAVING A RADIUS OF 7185.84 FEET AND A CHORD
28 BEARING OF N 32° 44' 30" E FOR 1810.56 FEET;THENCE S 88° 37'20" E FOR 2062.96 FEET;
29 THENCE N 77° 11' 21" E FOR 770.89 FEET; THENCE S 45° 35' 07" E FOR 100.00 FEET AND
30 THE BEGINNING OF A CURVE; THENCE ALONG SAID CURVE TO THE LEFT HAVING A
31 RADIUS OF 645 FEET AND A CHORD BEARING OF S 33° 41' 14" W FOR 240.12 FEET;
32 THENCE S 22° 57' 35" W FOR 1196.83 FEET AND THE BEGINNING OF A CURVE; THENCE
33 ALONG SAID CURVE TO THE RIGHT HAVING A RADIUS OF 555.00 FEET AND A CHORD
34 BEARING OF S 57° 10'08" W FOR 624.06 FEET;THENCE N 88°37'20"W FOR 53.65 FEET TO

2 LESS.
3 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
4 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
5 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
6 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
7 resolution.
8 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions or parts of the same that are inconsistent with
9 the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
