Learn why this is important Dear Planning Commissioners,  We are writing to express our enthusiastic support for the rezoning of Goodwin Manor on Garrison Road to permit occasional charity events, as well as lunch and dinner experiences and garden tours hosted by Chef Jennifer Maune, who will primarily use the home as her family residence. There are already several event venues, PCDs, and properties zoned for agriculture and forestry in the surrounding area, including at the entrance to our neighborhood. Rezoning Goodwin Manor would align with the existing precedent. As a resident nearby, I believe this rezoning would greatly benefit our community, adding value and providing opportunities for positive engagement. Ms. Maune’s plans for well-organized gatherings will support charitable causes and foster a sense of belonging in western Pulaski County. These events will create enjoyable experiences while promoting cultural and educational development. I am confident that Ms. Maune will handle these events with care and respect for the surrounding residents. Based on her past events and her character, I trust she will take necessary steps to minimize noise and traffic disruptions. I appreciate the need to maintain the character of our community, and I believe her proposal balances community engagement with our desire for peace and quiet. I strongly urge you to approve the rezoning request for this property. This is a unique chance to support a valuable member of our community and enhance the quality of life in our neighborhood. Approving this request would be a positive step toward fostering charity and community involvement in a thoughtful and responsible manner. James and Tracy Beene 200 Easy Street  Little Rock, AR 72223
