3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH BALE CHEVROLET COMPANY, FOR THE
5 PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 2025 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 AWD
6 CREW CAB TRUCKS, FOR THE STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION OF
7 THE CITY'S PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT,IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
8 EXCEED NINETY-ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND NINETY
9 DOLLARS ($91,990.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES; AND
10 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Street Operations Division of the City's Public Works Department has a need for two
13 (2)2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 AWD Crew Cab Trucks, as replacements for aged vehicles with high
14 mileage,which is costly to maintain and repair; and,
15 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made through HGAC Contract#VE05-24; and,
16 WHEREAS,pursuant to Little Rock,Ark. Resolution No. 16603 (February 18, 2025),the Purchasing
17 Division of the City of Little Rock is authorized to purchase on contracts awarded by the State of Arkansas;
18 and,
19 WHEREAS, the total cost of this purchase is in an amount not to exceed Ninety-one Thousand Nine
20 Hundred and Ninety Dollars ($91,990.00), plus applicable taxes and fees.
21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
23 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Bale Chevrolet Company, for
24 the purchase of two(2)2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 AWD Crew Cab Trucks,in an amount not to exceed
25 Ninety-one Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety Dollars($91,990.00), plus applicable taxes and fees.
26 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from the Public Works 2025 Vehicle & Equipment
27 Replacement Account#205409-72300-S40B676.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
32 resolution.

1 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
