HomeMy WebLinkAbout16659 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,659 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH VEHICLE SERVICE GROUP, LLC, IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND, NINE 6 HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE AND 14/100 DOLLARS ($76,945.14), PLUS 7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 8 FLEX MAX ROTARY COLUMN LIFT FOR THE FLEET LANDFILL 9 STORAGE SHOP; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS,Fleet Landfill Storage Shop has a need for one(1)Rotary Column Lift for the replacement 12 of an older piece of equipment with safety concerns,that is costly to maintain and repair;and, 13 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made through General Services Administration Contract No. 14 GS07F294AA;and, 15 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark. Resolution 16,603 (February 18, 2025), the Purchasing 16 Division of the City of Little Rock is authorized to purchase on contracts awarded by the State of Arkansas. 17 WHEREAS,the total cost of this purchase is in an amount not to exceed Seventy-Six Thousand,Nine 18 Hundred Forty-Five and 14/100 Dollars($76,945.14),plus applicable taxes and fees. 19 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS; 21 Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Vehicle Service Group, LLC, 22 for the purchase of one (1) Flex Max Rotary Column Lift, in an amount not to exceed Seventy-Six 23 Thousand,Nine Hundred Forty-Five and 14/100 Dollars($76,945.14),plus applicable taxes and fees. 24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from the Fleet Services Maintenance Account No. 25 600031-7220. 26 Section 3. Severability.
