3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 16,618 (March 4, 2025),
4 TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
5 CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP, INC., IN AN
6 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-
7 NINE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED NINETY-NINE DOLLARS AND
8 98/100 ($1,269,999.98) WHICH INCLUDES A TEN PERCENT (10%)
9 CONTINGENCY AMOUNT FOR SITE GRADING AND UTILITIES FOR
10 THE LITTLE ROCK MICRO HOME VILLAGE; AND FOR OTHER
11 PURPOSES.

13 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock Board of Directors passed Resolution No. 16,618(March 4,2025)
14 authorizing the City Manager and City Clerk to enter into a contract with Redstone Construction Group,
15 Inc., in an amount not to exceed One Million One Hundred Thirty-Four Thousand, Five Hundred Thirty-
16 Seven Dollars and 25/100 Dollars ($1,134,537.25), to provide for site grading and utilities for the Little
17 Rock Micro Home Village which will be located at 3405 Roosevelt Road in Little Rock,Arkansas,and
18 WHEREAS,it has been determined that the true cost of the project pursuant to the Unit Price Schedule
19 is One Million One Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand Five Hundred and Thirty-Seven Dollars and 25/00
20 ($1,154,537.25),and
21 WHEREAS,it has been determined that a contingency amount often percent(10%)will be authorized
22 under the contract in the amount of One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty-Three Dollars
23 and 73/00 ($115,453.73), which may be approved upon written approval from the City Manager or
24 designated representative;and
25 WHEREAS, The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Redstone Construction
26 Group, Inc., in an amount not to exceed One Million Two Hundred Sixty-Nine Thousand Nine Hundred
27 Ninety-Nine and 98/100($1,269,999.98),to provide for site grading and utilities for the Little Rock Micro
28 Home Village which will be located at 3405 Roosevelt Road in Little Rock,Arkansas.
29 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
30 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
31 Section 1. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to enter into a contract with Redstone
32 Construction Group, Inc., in an amount not to exceed One Million Two Hundred Sixty-Nine Thousand
33 Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine and 98/100 ($1,269,999.98), to provide for site grading and utilities for the
34 Little Rock Micro Home Village which will be located at 3405 Roosevelt Road in Little Rock,Arkansas.

I Section 2. Funds for this project are available from the Micro Home Village FY2025 Account No.
2 108359 S35C644.
3 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
4 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
5 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
6 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
7 resolution.
8 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions, including but not limited to Little Rock,Ark.
9 Resolution No. 16,618 (March 4, 2025), or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with the provisions of
10 this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
