3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ADD
4 FUNDS TO THE LITTLE ROCK ZOO'S EXISTING CONTRACT WITH
5 LITTLE ROCK REPAIR SHOP IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIF-
6 TEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($15,200.00), FOR CON-
7 TINUATION OF SERVICES ON THE "OVER THE JUMPS" CAROU-
8 SEL'S RESTORATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Zoo was authorized to enter into a contract with Little Rock Repair
11 Shop for restoration services to the"Over The Jumps"Carousel on Resolution 16,171 in December
12 2023 after a Selection Committee convened and awarded this vendor for the service after bidding;
13 and,
14 WHEREAS, after a competitive bidding process, Bid No. 2264, it was determined that Little Rock
15 Repair Shop, was to qualified bidder, even though the sole bidder, with a bid total of One Hundred Six
16 Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars($106,975.00)for the original project;and,
17 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Zoo seeks authorization for additional funds in the amount of Fifteen
18 Thousand Two Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($15,200.00) for continuation of restoration services on the
19 "Over The Jumps"Carousel;and
20 WHEREAS,this resolution amends Resolution 16,171 of December 5,2023.
21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to add additional funds in an amount not to exceed Fifteen
24 Thousand Two Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($15,200.00) for continuation of restoration services on the
25 "Over The Jumps"Carousel.
26 Section 2. The Project will be funded by the Carousel Maintenance Special Project Fund, Account
27 No. 108659-571 B455.
28 Section 3. this resolution amends Resolution 16,171 of December 5,2023.
29 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.

1 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
