A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO LASITER
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS
MCPHERSON RD.(HERNDON TO LANEHART) & HERNDON AT
STAGECOACH RD.(SH #5) INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS,
TO REPLACE CANCELLED TALL TIMBER AT STAGECOACH
(STATE HWY. 5) SIGNAL IMPROVEMENT.
WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the street improvement of McPherson Rd.(Hemdon
to Lanehart) & Herndon at Stagecoach Rd.(SH #5) Intersection Improvements to replace
cancelled Tall Timber at Stagecoach Rd.(SH #5) Signal Project,
AND, Lasiter Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
Lasiter Construction, Inc. for street improvement of McPherson Rd.(Herndon to
Lanehart) & Herndon at Stagecoach Rd.(SH #5) Intersection Improvements, Bid No.06-
284.
SECTION 2. 2004 Bond Funds available for the project McPherson Rd.(Herndon to
Lanehart) & Herndon at Stagecoach Rd.(SH #5) Intersection Improvements, Bid No.06-
284, are from cancelled 2004 Bond Capital Improvement Program project 314- 220 -TS-
17, Tall Timber and Stagecoach Rd.: for amount $158,254.80($143,868.00 plus 10%
contingencies).
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
