1 Amherst Cove is a 1,440 square foot Single Family Home in the Shannon Hills East
Subdivision of Litte Rock in Pulaski County. The house has four bedrooms and two
bathrooms. We use one bedroom as a home office.
We are requesting a Special Use Permit to use the house as a Short Term Rental. No
parties or events would be permitted. We would require a two night minimum stay and
block off two days between guests to ensure adequate time for cleaning and
maintenance. Our daughter and son in law live nearby and would be available if
needed.
My husband and I have operated an AirBnb in Dallas for seven years without any issues
maintaining an excellent relationship with our neighbors. We have a 4.96 rating on
AirBnb with 261 reviews. We have maintained Super Host status throughout the entire
seven years.
Out renters are families or small groups of friends who come into town to visit family or
enjoy the opportunities the city offers. They prefer to stay in a home where they have
room to visit, cook and eat without being confined to a hotel room. They frequent local
businesses and are good for the economy. Our favorites are the grandparents that
come to stay several weeks when a new grandbaby is born. One couple has stayed in
our home from November through January for the last six years. They are expats living
in Ireland that come to spend the holidays with their grown children on Dallas. We look
forward to developing long term relationships with guests who visit Little Rock.
