3 A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT SANDRA PATTON AND BETTY
4 EVERETT TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF TALL TIMBER
5 WEST RECREATION IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 3; AND, FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, Tall Timber West Recreational Improvement District No. 3 ("the District")was created
9 pursuant to Little Rock,Ark.,Ordinance No. 15,891 (May 6, 1986); and,
10 WHEREAS, Tanika Mitchell and Sherman Williams, Commissioners of the District, have tendered
11 letters of resignation; and,
12 WHEREAS, Betty Everett and Sandra Patton, owners of property within the District have agreed to
13 serve as Commissioners of the District;
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors accepts the resignation of District Commissioners Tanika Mitchell
17 and Sherman Williams as members of the Tall Timber West Recreational Improvement District No. 3
18 Commission,and thanks them for their service.
19 Section 2. The Board of Directors appoints the following persons to fill the vacancies created by the
20 resignation of Ms.Mitchell and Mr.Williams,directs these new appointees them to file the necessary oath
21 of office with the City Clerk, and, states its appreciation for willingness to serve with Ms. Lashall Brown
22 as property owners to accept a position as District Commissioners for Tall Timber West Recreational
23 Improvement District No. 3:
24 a. Betty Everett of 4711 Timberland Drive,Little Rock,Arkansas, 72204;and,
25 b. Sandra Patton of 4903 Timberland Drive,Little Rock,Arkansas 72204.
26 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
