Home My WebLink About16618 • 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,618, 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP, 5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION, ONE HUN- 6 DRED THIRTY-FOUR THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN 7 AND 25/100 DOLLARS ($1,134,537.25), FOR SITE GRADING AND UTIL- 8 ITIES FOR THE LITTLE ROCK MICRO HOME VILLAGE; AND FOR 9 OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock(the "City") is developing the Little Rock Micro Home Village 12 ("Micro Home Village") to provide transitional housing for unsheltered individuals and families, which 13 will be located at 3405 Roosevelt Road;and, 14 WHEREAS, on January 25, 2025, the City issued an Invitation to Bid for site grading and utilities 15 for the Micro Home Village, and Redstone Construction Group, Inc.,was chosen as the lowest responsi- 16 ble bidder of the two(2)finalized bids received for the project; and, 17 WHEREAS, the contract amount for the site grading and utilities shall not exceed One Million, One 18 Hundred Thirty-Four Thousand,Five Hundred Thirty-Seven and 25/100 Dollars($1,134,537.25); and, 19 WHEREAS,Little Rock,Ark., Resolution No. 15,600 (December 21, 2021)authorized the expendi- 20 tures from the"American Rescue Plan Act of 2021;" and, 21 WHEREAS, the funds for this project are available from the Micro Home Village FY2025 Account 22 No. 108359 S35C644. 23 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 24 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 25 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Redstone Construction 26 Group,Inc., in an amount not to exceed One Million, One Hundred Thirty-Four Thousand,Five Hundred 27 Thirty-Seven and 25/100 Dollars ($1,134,537.25), to provide for site grading and utilities for the Little 28 Rock Micro Home Village which will be located at 3405 Roosevelt Road in Little Rock,Arkansas. 29 Section 2. Funds for this project are available from the Micro Home Village FY2025 Account No. 30 108359 S35C644. 31 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 32 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju- 33 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and ef- [Page 1 of 2] 1 fect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 2 resolution. 3 Section 4. Repealer.
