3 A RESOLUTION TO EXTEND THE SOMA 501 ENTERTAINMENT
4 DISTRICT AS A TEMPORARY ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT,FOR THE
5 FOLLOWING DATES: MARCH 7, 2025; JUNE 6, 2025; JUNE 7, 2025;
6 SEPTEMBER 5,2025; OCTOBER 3,2025; AND DECEMBER 5,2025; AND
7 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,on July 23,2019,the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas(the"City"),
10 passed Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21,761 (July 23, 2019), ("LRO 21,761") as amended which
11 permitted the creation of a Temporary Entertainment District pursuant to Arkansas State Law and City
12 Ordinance;and,
13 WHEREAS,the City Board of Directors has determined the creation of a Temporary Entertainment
14 District as proposed by LRO 21,761 as amended is appropriate as recommended by the City's Planning&
15 Development Department.
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
18 Section 1. The SoMa 501 Entertainment District is hereby extended by the City of Little Rock as a
19 Temporary Entertainment District for the following dates: March 7, 2025; June 6, 2025; June 7, 2025;
20 September 5,2025; October 3,2025;December 5,2025; and is subject to LRO 21,761 as amended and its
21 defined terms.
22 Section 2. Boundaries. The SoMa 501 Entertainment District boundaries are particularly described
23 as a half block East of Main Street to the half block west of Main Street starting at 12th Street down to 17th
24 Street.
25 Section 3. Timeframe. The SoMa 501 Entertainment District will be designated as a Temporary
26 Entertainment District upon the adoption of this Resolution and which shall expire on December 6, 2025.
27 The hours of operation for the SoMa 501 Entertainment District are as follows: March 7,2025,from 4:00
28 p.m.to 11:59 p.m.;June 6,2025,from 4:00 p.m.to 11:59 p.m.;June 7,2025,from 6:00 a.m.to 11:59 p.m.;
29 September 5, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.; October 3, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.; and
30 December 5,2025,from 4:00 p.m.to 11:59 p.m.
31 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
32 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
33 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
34 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
35 resolution.

1 Section 5. Repealer. The provisions of all technical codes, ordinances, and codes of ordinances in
2 conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
