Item No. 5 - OTHER MATTERS - BILL OF ASSURANCE AMENDMENT
NAME: First Federal Savings
APPLICANT: Artie Gregory
r
REQUEST:
Planning Commission approval of a Bill of Assurance
amendment on Kensington Place Subdivision.
The Bill of Assurance provides that the Planning Commission
approve any amendment prior to its recording. The amendment
proposed is of such a nature which probably precludes the
Commission denying the amendment. The applicant will be
present at the meeting to discuss his proposal.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
The Planning staff briefly discussed the proposal which
involves the establishment of an assessment fee or fees for
membership in the Property Owners' Association and changing
the Bill of Assurance to reflect the wording in the
Association Rules and Bylaws. The staff advised the
Planning Commission that the issue is not one which the
Commission normally deals with, but that the Bill of
Assurance requires Planning Commission approval prior to the
recording of the amending document.
A motion to approve the amendment was made and passed by a
vote of 7 ayes, 0 noes, 4 absent.
