STAFF RECOMMENDATION This request is similar to many that have been denied in the past. The staff recommends denial. SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION The Committee forwards this matter to the Commission with no recommendation. A commercial building has been built on a previously platted lot, observing a 25T building line on Shelley Drive. The owner now wishes to make an addition of up to 251, which would bring it to the right-of-way line on Sherry. The current requirement is 451. The staff must recommend denial. Planning Commission Action During the Subdivision Committee meeting earlier in the day, it was noted that the existing concrete slab had been poured as part of the original construction and included footings and plumbing. The applicant was advised to pursue his right to complete construction which had been underway prior to annexation into the City. The Committee recommended denial of the variance request. 0 The Commission voted unanimously to deny the variance. 0
