LA lelSUBDIVISION Item No. 17 `_ Staff Recommendation I C 5-23-78 File No. 5-2510 The western part of this plat has been previously approved by the Commission as Lot 6, "M" Rep-lat. Curb cuts were specifically prohibited in compliance with the Rock Creek Area Plan. The "driveway easement" proposed to serve Lots 3 and 4 from the parkway is in direct conflict with the plan. All access must come from West Markham Street. The Staff recommends denial of the plat as submitted. Subdivision Committee Recommendation The developer and his engineer were present and agreed to revise the plat in response to the apove Staff recommendation. The Subdivision Committee (and Staff) recommends approval subject to: 1.) Eliminate vehicular access to the Rock Creek Parkway. 2.) Provide a cul-de-sac for access from West Markham Street. 3.) On Markham Street provide one-half of a 60' right- of-way, one-half of a 36' street and a sidewalk. PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION The Commission voted unanimously to approve the plat as recommended by the Subdivision Committee.
