3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 18, 2025 AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON A PORTION OF S.
5 BATTERY STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY (APPROXIMATELY 181 LINEAR
6 FEET) LOCATED BETWEEN LOTS 3-6, BLOCK 4 AND LOTS 7-10,
7 BLOCK 5, UNION DEPOT ADDITION (BETWEEN W. MARKHAM
8 STREET AND W. 2ND STREET) IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
9 ARKANSAS (G-23-492); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
12 abandon a portion of the S. Battery Street right-of-way (approximately 181 linear feet) located between
13 Lots 3-6,Block 4,and Lots 7-10,Block 5,Union Depot Addition(between W.Markham Street and W.2'
14 Street), in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
17 Section 1.The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held at
18 a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in City Hall,2nd Floor Board Room,500 West
19 Markham Street,Little Rock,Arkansas at six o'clock on February 18,2025.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
21 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
22 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution,which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
