RESOLUTION NO. 12,402
A RESOLUTION TO SET JANUARY 2, 2007, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON
THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE NORTH /SOUTH 20 -FOOT -WIDE ALLEY
LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 16, POPE'S ADDITION, BOUNDED BY EAST 3RD,
EAST 4T", ROCK, AND COMMERCE STREETS, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
vacate and abandon the North /South 20- foot -wide alley located within Block 16, Pope's Addition,
bounded by East 3rd, East 4th, Rock, and Commerce Streets, in the City of Little Rock, pursuant to its
general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. 514 -54 -104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned alley right -of-
way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of
City Hall at six o'clock on the 2 "d day of January, 2007.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
