3 A RESOLUTION TO SET DECEMBER 19, 2006, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A 15- FOOT -WIDE
5 UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOTS 3, 4, 5, AND 6, BLOCK 6,
6 PFEIFER ADDITION, AT 5000 WEST MARKHAM STREET, IN THE
7 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board
10 of Directors vacate and abandon a 15-foot-wide utility easement located in Lots 3, 4,
11 5, and 6, Block 6, Pfeifer Addition, at 5000 West Markham Street, in the City of Little
12 Rock, pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. X14 -54-
13 104.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
17 utility easement shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
18 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 2nd day of January, 2006.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
20 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
21 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in
22 the City of Little Rock.
