3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH AG -PRO CENTRAL FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 4WD
5 TRACTOR WITH SIDE AND REAR FLAIL MOWER; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is in need of one (1) 4WD Tractor with
9 Side and Rear Flail Mower, and
10 WHEREAS, this tractor with mowing equipment will replace an older tractor with
11 a higher maintenance cost, and
12 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of the 4WD
13 Tractor with Side and Rear Flail Mower and the lowest responsible and responsive bid
14 was received from AG -Pro Central in the amount of Fifty -seven Thousand, Six Hundred
15 Eighty -seven Dollars ($57,687.00);
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
19 into a contract with AG -Pro Central for the purchase of one (1) 4WD Tractor with Side
20 and Rear Flail Mower, for the amount of Fifty -Seven Thousand, Six Hundred Eighty -
21 seven Dollars ($57,687.00).
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from Acct. #200 -220-
23 2200 - 7060(10).
24 Section 3. Severabiiity. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
25 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be
26 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the

I remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
2 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of
3 the resolution.
4 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,
5 that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the
6 extent of such inconsistency.
