RESOLUTION NO. 12,408
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH ROBERT KING AUCTION SERVICE TO AUCTION
5 IMPOUNDED VEHICLES FOR THE VEHICLE STORAGE FACILITY; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for auctioneer services to auction
9 impounded vehicles for the Vehicle Storage Facility and the lowest responsible and
10 responsive bid was received from Robert King Auction Service in an annual amount of
11 Sixteen Thousand, Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($16,750.00).
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
15 into a contract with Robert King Auction Service to provide auctioneer services to
16 auction impounded vehicles for the Vehicle Storage Facility in an annual amount of
17 Sixteen Thousand, Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($16,750.00).
18 Section 2. The Board of Directors further authorizes the extension of this
19 contract up to six (6) additional years in one (1) year increments for the same yearly
20 fee.
21 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from Account #608-
22 360 -6050.
23 Section 3. Severabiiity. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
24 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be
25 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the

I remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
2 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of
3 the resolution.
4 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,
5 that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the
6 extent of such inconsistency.
