RESOLUTION NO. 12,410
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
4 CONTRACT NEGOTIATONS WITH WITTENBERG, DELONY AND DAVIDSON,
5 INC. ARCHITECTS FOR THE DESIGN OF THE RIVERFEST AMPHITHEATRE
6 ROOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, The River Market Committee has been considering options to improve
9 the Riverfest Amphitheatre's roof for several years, and
10 WHEREAS, after considering several design concepts, the Committee has
11 recommended the design and construction of an appropriate roof and structure to
12 update the facility, and
13 WHEREAS, after reviewing four proposals, the Committee recommends selection
14 of Wittenberg, Delony and Davidson, Inc. Architects to design the new Riverfest
15 Amphitheatre roof;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
19 into contract negotiations with Wittenberg, Delony and Davidson, Inc. for the design of
20 a new Riverfest Amphitheatre roof.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project will be available in the Riverfront Park Special
22 Project Fund.
23 Section 3. Severabi/ity. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
24 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be
25 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the
26 remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the

1 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of
2 the resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,
4 that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the
5 extent of such inconsistency.
