Approval of plans by Central Arkansas Water, the Arkansas Department of Health Engineering Division and Little Rock Fire Department is required. This development will have minor impact on the existing water distribution system. Proposed water facilities will be sized to provide adequate pressure and fire protection. If there are facilities that need to be adjusted and/or relocated, contact Central Arkansas Water. That work would be done at the expense of the developer. Additional fire hydrant(s) will be required. Contact the Little Rock Fire Department to obtain information regarding the required placement of the hydrant(s) and contact Central Arkansas Water regarding procedures for installation of the hydrant(s). The property identified by the plat attached to this memo is currently zoned AF and has no current usage. The proposed amendments to the site are to include four (4) full size soccer fields, six small practice fields, non -permanent players' benches in between the four large fields, and minimal non- permanent bleachers on the outside boundaries of the large fields. The scope of work that is planned to be completed includes • grading the land to promote drainage to the north and north west of the property • Installing multi -zoned sprinkler systems to properly irrigate the grounds • Install Bermuda Grass on all areas marked to be practice or play fields (-50,000 yards) ■ Install a parking lot designed by Tanner Weeks to meet the requirements of city beautification and handicap requirements. ■ Propose to construct a men/woman's bathroom on each side and a concession area on the end (bathrooms are proposed to have 4 stalls for woman, two stalls for men and three urinals for men) We would like to ask for special consideration be taken due to time of submission in relation to the time of year. These fields are planned for play in early spring of 2012 and in order to prep the ground, lay the irrigation system and put down the sod we are asking that we be allowed to begin the grading and get the sod down as soon as possible in order to give the sod time to root and establish itself prior to the cold weather beginning and large amounts of rain. We would greatly appreciate if we could begin to put the sod down as soon as possible please.
