3 A RESOLUTION TO EXTEND THE DISTRICT AT BRECKENRIDGE
4 TEMPORARY ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT, FOR THE DATES OF
5 DECEMBER 31, 2024, TO DECEMBER 31, 2025; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, on July 23, 2019, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed
9 Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21,761, as amended, which permitted the creation of a Temporary
10 Entertainment District pursuant to Arkansas State Law and City Ordinance;and,
11 WHEREAS,the City Board of Directors has determined the creation of a Temporary Entertainment
12 District as proposed by Ordinance No. 21,761 as amended is appropriate as recommended by the Planning
13 &Development Department;and,
14 WHEREAS, the City Board of Directors adopted in Resolution No. 16,476 (October 15, 2024), the
15 District at Breckenridge Entertainment District as a Temporary Entertainment District providing days and
16 hours of operation to be October 15,2024,through December 31,2024,from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM seven
17 (7)days a week; and,
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
20 Section 1. The District at Breckenridge Entertainment District is hereby extended by the City of Little
21 Rock as a Temporary Entertainment District on Tuesday,January 21,2025, and subject to Ordinance No.
22 21,761 as amended and its defined terms.
23 Section 2. Boundaries. The District at Breckenridge Temporary Entertainment District boundaries
24 will contain the entire Breckenridge Village property located at the southwest corner of Breckenridge Drive
25 and N.Rodney Parham Road.
26 Section 3. Timeframe. The District at Breckenridge Temporary Entertainment District shall
27 be extended as a Temporary Entertainment District upon the adoption of this Resolution and shall
28 expire after December 31, 2025. The hours of operation for the District at Breckenridge Temporary
29 Entertainment District will operate from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM,seven(7)days a week as adopted by
30 this ordinance. The City reserves the right to amend boundaries and hours of operation at its sole
31 discretion.
32 Section 4. Severabilily. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
33 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
34 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and

1 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 5. Repealer.All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
4 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
