3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CINTAS CORPORATION FOR TWO (2)
5 YEARS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINETY THOUSAND
6 DOLLARS ($90,000.00),PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF UNIFORMS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS SOLID WASTE
8 DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division utilizes uniform rental services for
11 its employees;and,
12 WHEREAS,the vendor selection for uniforms,meeting the specifications needed,was made through
13 Omnia Agreement Partners,Contract No. 001299;and,
14 WHEREAS,the Solid Waste Division currently has an agreement with Cintas Corporation,but is only
15 authorized to spend up to Fifty Thousand Dollars($50,000.00)which was based on preliminary projections;
16 and,
17 WHEREAS,the need for uniform rental services from Cintas Corporation has increased to an annual
18 amount not to exceed Ninety Thousand Dollars($90,000.00),plus applicable taxes and fees;and,
19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement for uniform
22 rental services with Cintas Corporation, in an annual amount not to exceed Ninety Thousand Dollars
23 ($90,000.00)for the next two(2)calendar years(2025-2026).
24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from various Waste Disposal Account Nos. 603110-
25 60030, 603120-60030,and 603125-60030.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
