HomeMy WebLinkAbout16560 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,560 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO 4 ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH NIXON POWER SERVICES 5 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY THOUSAND, FOUR 6 HUNDRED NINETY-TWO DOLLARS AND 53/100, ($60,492.53), 7 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A GENERATOR FOR THE LITTLE 8 ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, it has been deemed appropriate and necessary to purchase and implement a 11 generator for temporary Fire Station 9;and, 12 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made through the utilization of the Sourcewell contract No. 13 092222-KOH; and, 14 WHEREAS, the total cost of the project shall not exceed Sixty Thousand, Four Hundred 15 Ninety-Two Dollars and 53/100($60,492.53); and, 16 WHEREAS,funding for the project is through the Federal Emergency Management Agency 17 (FEMA) Temp Facility special project with funds from Account Activity 270519-G51DF231- 18 72200 and Act 833 Account S00B250-210519-72200; 19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 20 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with 22 Nixon Power Services for a generator for temporary Fire Station 9 in an amount not to exceed Sixty 23 Thousand,Four Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars and 53/100($60,492.53). 24 Section 2. Funding for this project is through the Federal Emergency Management Agency 25 (FEMA) Temp Facility special project with funds from Account Activity 270519-G51DF231- 26 72200 and Act 833 Account S00B250-210519-72200; with vendor selection made through the 27 utilization of the Sourcewell contract No.092222-KOH. 28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, 29 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such 30 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall 31 remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional 32 was not originally a part of the resolution. 33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are 34 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such 35 inconsistency.
