The Ponds Edge Subdivision Preliminary Plat (S-1567), made a request to allow the creation of 27 single-family lots from this 8.76 acre tract with an average lot size of 65- feet by 115-feet. The general location or address is located east of Vimy Ridge Road approximately 1/4 of a mile North of County Line Road. The Ponds Edge subdivision is owned by NuAge Development. The "Quail Run Neighborhood Association" is opposed to this request. We currently have a major traffic problem on Vimy Ridge Road north of County Line Road to Alexander Road between 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. Monday - Friday. A subdivision west of Vimy Ridge Road is currently laying out lots for approximately 400 houses. This will add to our existing traffic problems. Traffic from Saline County traveling north on Vimy Ridge Road adds to our early morning traffic problems for the Little Rock residents.
