RE: Z-9500-C Goodwin – PCD 3708 Garrison Road Development Staff Comments: Show any proposed future structures on site plan with dimensions. Future planned structures could include a barn (40’x80’) and green house structure (40’x80’) for vegetables, winter plants, and livestock, that is architecturally compatible with the property and home, with no immediate plans to construct. We will expand current garden to be able to grow crops and food products for local restaurants and farmers market such as the Ferndale Farmers Market. Will the parking area shown on site plan be gravel, paved or grass? Grass initially with potential to improve in the future. Provide a more detailed description of types of events to be held on property (weddings, etc…) This property is first a primary residence for a family of eight, with planned events offered throughout the year including: Lunch and Garden Tours (held during the day) Seasonal Daytime Events such as Storytime with Santa, Easter Brunch, Mother’s Day Tea, Harvest event for families) Outdoor intimate wedding and dinner events (limited to 12-15 events a year) Will there be any ticketed events? Yes, events mentioned above. Provide letter from West Pulaski Volunteer Fire Department stating that fire protection will be provided to the facility. ***We are in communication with West Pulaski Volunteer Fire Department for an inspection and evacuation plan. Comply with all state health department requirements for the restaurant as well as the on-site wastewater facilities. ***Please note there will not be a restaurant built on the property, but any chef or catering company providing food on property will have ServSafe Food Handler certification and will be preparing food in a Retail Food Establishment certified by the Arkansas Department of Health.
