The letter is asking the City Planning Board to approve the University District Development Corp. to
change 10 R3 Sigle family lots into Multi -family lots for Duplex. The UDDC is a non-profit organization
that helps low to moderate income family buy houses as well as rent. We are seeking to build 10
duplexes' in the Midtown area. Some of the lots are donated from the city, the other were purchased by
us. We are also working with the City Home grant to build these as well Federal Home Loan Bank of
Dallas. The houses will be used to assist those that are below the 50% AML Each unit will be 2-bedroom,
1 bath. That will be around 820sgft.
