of the above property has been filed with the Department of Planning and Development.
A public hearing will be held by the L.R. Planning Commission in the Little Rock Board
of Directors Chambers, second floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham Street, on April 8,
2010 at 4:00 P.M. This notice is provided in order to assure that neighborhood

RE: Comments Otter Creek Travel Center
Dear Mr. Floriani,
We have the following response to the comments on the travel center:
#1 We have revised the drives to meet with Bill's requests, although a variance will still
be required for spacing and drive widths.
#2 The sight distances at the drives comply with Green Book standards.
43 We would request that the stormwater detention requirements be deferred until the
first phase is completed. This phase has a large pond adjacent to this site that is planned
for area wide detention. This pond currently acts as detention for the site as well as a
large quantity of runoff from the interstate. The plans call for this pond to be converted to
wet pond detention facility, when the first phase is completed.
44 We would request that we be allowed to clear and grade approximately 30 acres
Northeast of this site. The excavation from this site will be used for fill on the travel
center site. A 100' foot buffer will be allowed around the disturbed site and the site will
be seeded when completed. We also request that we can start construction on the dirt
work prior to a building permit being issued. This will allow us to finish the dirt work
prior to late fall.
