1st Responders Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) is a 24-hour
daycare specializing in accommodating parents who have unconventional work
schedules, such as night shifts, early morning shifts, or irregular hours that fall
outside of the typical 9-5 workday. 1st Responders ECDC aims to create a unique
identity in the daycare market by providing a secure, high -quality, learning
environment for children, day and night. This daycare aims to provide a safe,
loving and nurturing environment while focusing on the individual needs of each
child as we navigate through their 1st steps, 1st words and preparing for the 11t day
of school. 1st Responders ECDC will offer a flexible daycare service, while providing
a harmonious relationship between your work and personal life. In addition to a
24-hour service, 1st Responder ECDC will also provide a drop -in service, inclement
weather service, and a stimulating environment designed to promote learning at
all ages while interacting with caregivers. 1st Responders ECDC will target workers
who work all shifts on various days during the work week. 1st Responders ECDC
also supports our local essential workers. The target market will be children from 6
weeks of age to preschool ages. 1st Responders ECDC offers care for a small
number of children in a private home with smaller teacher to child ratio and more
flexibility.
This idea came to me while working in the law enforcement field. I saw a
great need for after hour care. Many of our officers, other first responders and
ordinary overnight working citizens struggled to make it to work because they did
not have or could not find the proper care for their children. 1st Responders ECDC
will change that for the community.
