3 A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO
4 PETITION TO VACATE A PLAT AND TO VACATE CERTAIN STREETS
5 AND ALLEYS LOCATED IN THE FAIRVIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
6 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, a Petition was filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little
9 Rock, Arkansas, on the 16th day of November, 2006, asking the Board of Directors to
10 vacate and abandon all of the streets and alleys in and the plat in Fairview Addition to
11 the City of Little Rock north of the north line of Granite Avenue, except that part of
12 Block 3 of Fairview Addition lying North and West of the Southeasterly right -of -way
13 line of abandoned Highway 367 (Arch Street Pike) and more particularly identified as:
14 The following described property located in Section 22, Township 1
15 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and being part of the
16 property platted as FAIRVIEW ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
17 County, Arkansas:
18 1. The East Half of the Northwest Quarter of the
19 Southeast Quarter (E %z NW %a SE %a);
20 2. The East Half of the West Half of the Northwest
21 Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (E %z W%z NW %a SEN),
22 except that part of Block 3 of Fairview Addition lying
23 North and West of the Southeasterly right -of -way
24 line of abandoned Highway 367 (Arch Street Pike);
25 and
1 3. That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
2 Quarter (SW %a SE %a) lying North of the street
3 designated as Granite Avenue on the plat of Fairview
4 Addition.
5 The particular streets and alleys being vacated are:
6 All of Central Avenue, all of Ouachita Avenue, all of Florence
7 Avenue, all of Fairview Avenue, Louisiana Street from the
8 north line of Granite Avenue to the north line of Fairview
9 Addition, Center Street from the north line of Granite
10 Avenue to the north line of Fairview Addition, Spring Street
11 from the north line of Granite Avenue to the north line of
12 Fairview Addition, Broadway Street from the north line of
13 Granite Avenue to the southeasterly right -of -way line of
14 abandoned Highway 367 (Arch Street Pike), Arch Street from
15 the north line of Granite Avenue to the north line of Fairview
16 Addition, Blocks 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 1 1 , 12, 13, 14, 15,
17 and 16 and all alleys contained therein or adjacent thereto,
18 and Block 3 except for the area north and west of the
19 southeasterly right of way line of abandoned Highway 367
20 (Arch Street Pike) and all alleys contained therein or
21 adjacent thereto.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
23 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
24 Section 1. The hearing on said Petition shall be held at the meeting of the
25 Board of Directors in the City Hall at 6:00 PM on the 2nd day of January, 2007.

I Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
2 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive
3 weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in Pulaski County, Arkansas.
