3 A RESOLUTION TO SET DECEMBER 19, 2006, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE NORTH /SOUTH 12- FOOT -WIDE
5 ALLEY RIGHT -OF -WAY (12 FEET BY 300 FEET) LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK
6 169, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, BOUNDED BY WEST 12TH, WEST
7 13TH, CENTER AND LOUISIANA STREETS, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board
11 of Directors vacate and abandon the North /South 12- foot -wide alley right -of -way (12
12 feet by 300 feet) located within Block 169, Original City of Little Rock, bounded by
13 West 12th, West 1 3th, Center and Louisiana Streets, pursuant to its general police power
14 authority under Ark. Code Ann. X14 -54 -104, in the City of Little Rock.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
18 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
19 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 19th day of December, 2006.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
21 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
22 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in
23 the City of Little Rock.
