3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK,ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
4 15,524 (August 17, 2021),AND LITTLE ROCK,ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
5 15,783 (August 6, 2022)AS TO THE ESTIMATED TOTAL FUNDING FOR
6 PARKS & COMMUNITIES RECREATION CENTERS, AND INVEST-
7 MENTS TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND EFFORTS TO DECREASE
8 HOMELESSNESS;AND,FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, in Little Rock,Ark., Resolution No. 15,524 (August 17, 2021) (LRR No. 15,524), to
11 delineate the proposed uses of the first tranche of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas("the City") allotment
12 of local fiscal recovery funds through the American Rescue Plan Act("ARPA"),the amount of one million
13 five hundred thousand dollars($1,500,000.00)for affordable housing and efforts to decrease homelessness
14 as set forth in Section 6(a);and,
15 WHEREAS,in Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 15,783(August 6,2022)("LRR 15,783),to delineate
16 the proposed uses of the second tranche of the City allotment of local fiscal recovery funds through ARPA
17 the amount of three million dollars($3,000,000.00)for parks and community centers as set forth in Section
18 3(c); and,
19 WHEREAS,the failure to obligate ARPA funds by December 31,2024, in order to assure that the use
20 of these funds are not lost to the City is critical;and,
21 WHEREAS,this Resolution identifies appropriate ARPA uses for these funds;
22 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 1'HE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
23 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
24 Section 1. The amount of one million six hundred, fifty-five thousand, ninety-six dollars
25 ($1,655,096.00) in ARPA monies shall hereby be obligated to public safety salaries in TREA Lost GOV
26 ERNMENT SALARIES-24 Accounting Unit 271529 Activity G0601AR52B.
27 Section 2. Section 6(a) of LRR 15,524, is hereby amended to state that the amount of ARPA funds
28 dedicated to Investments to Affordable Housing & Efforts to Decrease Homelessness is three hundred
29 ninety-nine thousand, eight hundred sixty-seven dollars ($399,867.00) after the obligated funding as set
30 forth in Section 1 of the Resolution.
31 Section 3. Section 3(c) of LRR 15,783 is hereby amended to state that the amount of ARPA funds
32 dedicated to parks and community centers is two million, four hundred forty-five thousand, thirty-seven
33 dollars($2,445,037.00)after the obligated funding as set forth in Section 1 of this Resolution.

1 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
2 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
3 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution,which shall remain in full force and effect
4 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso-
5 lution.
6 Section 3. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
7 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
