3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH BEYONDTRUST CORPORATION IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND, FOUR
6 HUNDRED DOLLARS ($129,400.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES ABD
7 FEES, TO PURCHASE A SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR
8 THE LITTLE ROCK INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT;
9 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Information Technology Department seeks approval to purchase a
12 Beyond Trust Privileged Access Management solution(PAM); and,
13 WHEREAS, key benefits to the PAM solution include stronger security, simplified compliance,
14 provides a seamless integration with Active Directory that supports hybrid and cloud set-up;and,
15 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made through the utilization of the SHI quote 11207;and,
16 WHEREAS,the amount of the purchase shall not exceed One Hundred Twenty Nine Thousand,Four
17 Hundred Dollars ($129,400.00) plus applicable fees and taxes with funding available from the available
18 from the IT Networking Account 103030-61350;
19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Beyond Trust Management in
22 an amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty-Nine Thousand,Four Hundred Dollars($129,400.00)plus
23 applicable fees and taxes for the purchase of Beyond Trust Privileged Access Management solution(PAM).
24 Section 2. Funding to purchase the software is available in the IT Networking Account 103030-
25 61350.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
