3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH PRESIDIO NETWORKED SOLUTIONS IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND, FOUR
6 HUNDRED SIXTY-THREE AND 82/100 DOLLARS ($73,463.82), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, TO REPLACE OUTDATED ACCESS
8 POINTS, UPGRADE TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE CYBERSECURITY,
9 AND INCREASE SPEED AND INTERNET COVERAGE; AND FOR
10 OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Information Technology Department seeks approval to upgrade and replace outdated
13 access points to provide upgraded technology that increases cybersecurity;and,
14 WHEREAS,the upgrade will increase internet coverage and speed;and,
15 WHEREAS, Vendor selection of Presidio Networked Solutions was made through utilization of the
16 NASPO Value Point Cisco AR 3227 AR SP-20-0051 contract;and,
17 WHEREAS,the total cost for the technology upgrade shall not exceed Seventy Three Thousand,Four
18 Hundred Sixty Three and 82/100 Dollars($73,463.82),plus applicable fees and taxes;
19 WHEREAS, funding is available from the American Rescue Plan Account No. TREA PARKS WIFI
20 AND BROADBAND G0601AR45A 271459-72200($28,584.29)and TREA GOVT SERVICES IT CORE
21 UPG G0601AR3OB 271309-72200($44,879.53);
22 NOW,'THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
23 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
24 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Presidio Networked Solutions
25 to upgrade and replace outdated access points,increase the number of access points,increase cybersecurity
26 and to increase Internet speed and coverage as outlined in the Presidio quote 2001224059923-01 dated
27 December 6, 2024, in the amount not to exceed Seventy Three Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-Three and
28 82/100 Dollars($73,463.82),plus applicable fees and taxes.
29 Section 2. Funds for this expenditure are available from the American Rescue Plan Account No.
30 TREA PARKS WIFI AND BROADBAND G0601AR45A 271459 ($28,584.29) and TREA GOVT
31 SERVICES IT CORE UPG G0601AR3OB 271309($44,879.53).
32 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
33 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or

1 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
2 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
3 resolution.
4 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
5 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
