3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH MICROSOFT FOR A ONE-YEAR RENEWAL OF
5 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE
6 HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND,ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR
7 AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($124,154.00), TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL
8 SERVICES, SUPPORT AND TRAINING ON MICROSOFT PRODUCTS;
9 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Information Technology Department seeks approval to renew a contract
12 for a term of one year with Microsoft for Professional Services;and,
' 13 WHEREAS, Microsoft Unified Support provides comprehensive support across Microsoft products;
14 and,
15 WHEREAS,Microsoft technologies provides unlimited break-fix support,proactive and preventative
16 services,twenty-four(24)hour service availability with expert guidance for strategic initiatives; and,
17 WHEREAS,the contract renewal terms conunences January 31,2025,through and including January
18 30,2026;and,
19 WHEREAS, the total cost for the one year contract shall not exceed One Hundred Twenty Four
20 Thousand One Hundred Fifty-Four Dollars($124,154.00),plus applicable fees and taxes;
21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract renewal with Microsoft Unified
24 Support to secure Professional Services, Support and Training for Microsoft products in the amount not to
25 exceed One Hundred Twenty Four Thousand One Hundred Fifty-Four Dollars ($124,154.00), plus
26 applicable fees and taxes.
27 Section 2. Funds for this expenditure are allocated in the Software/Hardware Recurring Maintenance,
28 Account No. 103001-61350.
29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.

1 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
