OF NEW_ST. 0 PROPOSED USES: Warehouse Food Distributor OF STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: This plat was submitted at the option of the owner and is not required by the City. It comes to the Commission on a technicality. An accessory freezer building is under construction on Tract #2 in connection with the Porter Food, Inc. warehouse on Tract #1. Both tracts form a single ownership. Permits were issued for construction of the accessory building in complete conformance with all ordinances. Then the lender insisted that the freezer be platted on a separate parcel to secure its separate financing. The technicality arises over setback requirements of the industrial Subdivision Ordinance which cannot be met here. Staff recommends approval. SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION The Subdivision Committee recommends approval as recommended by the staff. PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION ® The Commission voted unanimously to approve the plat as recommended by the Subdivision Committee.
