We are requesting permission to build an attached, "covered" structure to a home under construction that would be beyond the rear setback line. Home is located at 5913 N Country Club Blvd; Little Rock, AR 7227 in the Forest Heights Place Addition. Plans have been approved to build the home with an open patio, our request is to cover the patio. The owners are requesting the patio be covered due to Southern exposure to the sun from the rear of the house, protection from weather, and for additional privacy The covered structure will not interfere with any of the neighboring homes privacy, will be completed in a workman -like manner, and will conform to the style and quality of the other neighboring homes. The structure will extend back 14 feet from the back of the house (same as the approved patio), will be open on 3 sides, but have a roof. The roof will be the same as the home currently being built, and the floor of the structure will be about 24 inches above the ground.
