NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT an application for zoning variance(s) on the above property
has been filed with the Department of Planning and Development, 723 West Markham, requesting
variance(s) from:

A public hearing on said application will be held by the Little Rock Board of Adjustment in the
Little Rock Board of Directors Chamber, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 500 W. Markham, Little Rock,

All parties in interest may appear and be heard at said time and place or may notify the Board of
Adjustment of their views on this matter by letter. All persons interested in this request are invited
to call or visit the Department of Planning and Development, 723 West Markham, 1st Floor to
review the application and discuss same with the Zoning Administrator at 371-4790.

Sec. 36-353 (c)(1) b. The proposed sign exceeds the maximum allowable size.
Sec. 36-353 (c)(2). The proposed sign exceeds the maximum allowable height. Signs shall nor exceed one-half of a square foot of sign area for each linear foot of
street building frontage, nor exceeding twenty-five square feet per sign.
Sec. 36-356 (a)(1). The proposal removes historic materials and distinctive architectural features.
Sec. 36-356 (c)(1). The proposal does not retain the original dimensions of historical upper façade windows.
Sec. 36-356 (c)(4). The proposed primary entrance is perpendicular to South Rock Street.
Sec. 36-356 (d)(1). The proposed building height is 86.65 feet.
Sec 36-356 (d)(3). The historical context of the building is further altered rather than restored to its original design.
Sec. 35-356 (f)(2). and Sec. 36-357 (b)(3). The proposed front elevation canopy exceeds the maximum project building façade. The proposed canopy extends
approximately 19 feet from the building façade.
