Due to the slope of the lot, there are quite a few stairs between the house and the garage. In icy
weather, this could become a hazard when entering and exiting the garage.
Enclosing this 6 Ft. area will allow the family to access their cars without being exposed to the
rain and ice.
This property has had previous problems with theft and crime and enclosing the breezeway will
also provide better security for the family and help deter crime.
This variance has been granted to several of the neighbor's properties and should have no
negative effect on any other property owners.
