3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH INSIGHT PUBLIC SECTOR SLED, TO RENEW LRPD'S
5 FLOCK SUBSCRIPTION,IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED
6 EIGHTY-FOUR THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($284,500.00), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,Flock Safety has provided notice to the Little Rock Police Department(LRPD)that
10 a group of cameras needs the contract subscription renewed;and
11 WHEREAS, Flock Safety is the City's provider for license plate readers (LPRs) and is an essential
12 tool for the apprehension of criminals and the prevention of crime;and
13 WHEREAS,the vendor selection was made through utilization of the OM1NA Partners Contract No.
14 23-6692-03;and
15 WHEREAS,the cost for the contract will be in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Eighty-Four
16 Thousand,Five Hundred Dollars($284,500.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a service agreement in an amount not to
20 exceed Two Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($284,500.00) plus applicable taxes
21 and fees,with Insight Public Sector Sled to renew the Flock subscription for the City's LPRs.
22 Section 2. Funds are available through American Rescue Act funds from account 270529-63360-
23 G0601AR52A and from 105225-63360.
24 Section 3. The agreement shall be funded through the OM1NA Partners Contract No.23-6692-03.
25 Section 4. Severability. In the event any portion of this Resolution is declared or adjudged to be
26 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this
27 Resolution,which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
28 unconstitutional was not originally a part of this Resolution.
29 Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof,which are in conflict with
30 any provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
