Whitworth 8524 Bunch Road Waiver of street improvements and release from subdivision requirement. The applicant would like to sell approximately one-fourth acre of his approximately two acres to a family member (a daughter). The area of the proposed sale presently has a 12F X 50' mobile home located on it, and occupied by the daughter and her family. It is the intent of the applicant to move the mobile home to a location near the existing storage shed at the rear of the property. The mobile home will then be used for additional storage area. The reason for the proposed request is to allow the daughter and her family an opportunity to build a home with ample room, which the mobile home does not provide. This also will allow the . daughter easy access in order to provide care for her parents and to take care of the property. The applicant was informed that there is a requirement for installing curb, gutter and street improvements in an area when the property is subdivided. Therefore, the applicant is requesting a waiver from the improvements required for subdividing property because of the financial hardship that will be imposed upon him. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the waiver of street improvements and requirement that he subdivide property. PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: (AUGUST 11, 1992) Staff informed the Commission that this item was on the Consent Agenda for approval. As part of the Consent Agenda, this item was approved by a vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays and 2 absent. 1
