Markham Street Little Rock, Arkansas 72201 Re: Proposed Greenhouse Loins World Services for the Blind Dear Mr. Borkowski: We are requesting additional zoning variances for the above referenced proj ect. We would like a waiver from the requirement to dedicate any additional right- of-way for street widening. The property in question is a vital for the training of visually impaired individuals. The loss of this property would adversely affect the services that Lions World Services for the Blind offers. The dedication of this property would also require moving the Loins Statue. This statue has become the international symbol the Lions Clubs. We would also like a waiver from the requirement to provide an inlieu contribution for street improvements. The cost of the construction of the proposed greenhouse is being paid with grant money that expires soon. There is no money in the budget for this contribution. Should there be any question concerning this request, please call. Sincerely, CARVER+ ARVER, P.A. William S. Cato, P.E. Associate WSC.wp cc: Mr. Charles L.
